Finally at approximately 250 copies, the toner in all three color cartridges ran out, so I was obliged to replace them. The first few pages were a bit light, but now the cartridges perform better than the originals that came with the unit. Cartridges are super easy to install and colors are vivid. Time will tell if I actually get the 1400 copies stated on the package, but if not, there's a way to extend cartridge life. I think they probably bought it from alternate seller other than amazon.com itself. I paid $143.97 for these. When I opened them I found the seals had been broken and the entire top of each cartridge were covered with ink. I wiped them off as best I could and installed them because I needed them at that time. However I definitely should have returned them at that time. I am going to keep them now even though they leave colored streaks along the edges of each page no matter how much I try to wipe them off. I would just like to advise everyone not to buy anything from this company. Anne Harrington |
